Shalom Segula (Treasured Possssion)

Greetings in the name of Yeshua HaMashiach and His Father YHVH from whom all blessings flow!! Sometimes our “blessings” don’t look like blessings, but when our lives are surrendered to the One who created us, we can then know that He causes all things to work together for good to those who love Elohim and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28) We see the devastation going on all around us, yet, for the people of YHVH it’s an opportunity for us to draw closer to Him and to each other. It’s an opportunity for us to pray for our “neighbor” and reach out a helping hand to those in need. We can, by our very deeds, be a tangible extension of Elohim on the earth. We truly are a blessed people to be in the kingdom of YHVH fulfilling His kingdom purposes!!

We just entered into the month of Elul; and for those who have been studying their Hebrew Roots of the faith, we know that this is a forty day time frame leading up to Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). A time when we deal with both our vertical relationship with our Father and His Son and our horizontal relationships with our fellow brethren. It’s a time of introspection…a time of repenting of every way that is not pleasing to YHVH. It’s our prayer that each of us will get through this time with sincere hearts surrendered to the will of YHVH. On the Torah Calendar you will find a continuation of extra Scripture readings that will continue throughout the month of Elul. These are given to help us in our introspection. As we pray with open hearts to receive, the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) will gently lead us in the areas that need to be made right with both Elohim and man. Let’s lift each other up in prayer as we go through this time and for the upcoming Fall Feasts that we are about to celebrate.

Attached is the regular September Torah Calendar and the Read through the Bible in a Year Torah Calendar. We pray that as you read through the month that your eyes will behold wonderful things from His Torah!! For the new Torah cycle beginning in October we are changing our format after twenty-three years. We will now send out the Torah portions for the week in a weekly email early on Sunday mornings. The program we have used to design our calendars will no longer be an option beginning in October, therefore, we won’t be able to access the years of calendars we have made for referencing; this, too, weighs into our decision. More will be explained when we send out the first reading on October 4th. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
